Solo Exhibition at Akane Gallery

Setting Up – The First Day at Akane Art Gallery

Our first day at Akane Art Gallery was full of excitement and nervous energy. We showed up with our arms full of carefully wrapped canvases, ready to bring the space to life. As we unwrapped each piece and started placing them around the room, the gallery slowly turned into a reflection of our individual styles and shared vision. With a lot of care, we hung each painting around the gallery. By the end of the day, the space was full of color, feeling, and ready to welcome everyone into our world.

Arriving at the gallery and going over the plan of action with our team.

Unloading the big van we rented to bring our pieces to the gallery.

Carefully deciding the placement of each piece to tell a cohesive story.

During the Exhibition – A Week of Art and Connection

Over the course of the week-long exhibition at Akane Art Gallery in Ginza, our artwork was met with warmth, curiosity, and praise. Family, friends, and many curious passersby came through the doors, drawn in by the vibrant energy of the space. Conversations bloomed, connections were made, and each visitor experienced the art in a personal way. The support from loved ones made the week even more special, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and inspiring.

Guests showed warm interest and asked us many intriguing questions.

The guests’ enthusiasm for art was inspiring and made me think even more deeply about my own work. Also, it was a great opportunity to share each story behind our paintings.

Closing Day – Wrapping Things Up

On the final day, we came together one last time—this time to take everything down and pack it all up. There was a quiet sense of pride as we wrapped each piece, remembering all the moments from the week. The gallery walls slowly turned white again, but the memories and the connections we made stayed with us. It was a heartfelt end to an amazing experience.

Wrapping up the canvases to take back to the atelier.

Carrying them out one by one on the busy streets of Ginza.

All packed up and ready to go.
